While moving to Minnesota was good for career advancement, largely, they found themselves socially and professionally isolated when away from their offices. This shared experience led charter members to create a professional support system – a local chapter of NBMBAA. In partnership with General Mills, Pillsbury, First Bank [now US Bancorp], Norwest Bank, 3M and Honeywell, a Twin Cities chapter was born.

Our members are graduate students and business professionals representing a variety of professional industries with the common the goals of exposure, career development and advancement. The chapter’s commitment is to provide valued-added programming and services that align with these goals.

The local chapter is managed by a volunteer executive committee of elected officers who act under established bylaws. The executive committee establishes policy, guides programs, approves expenditures and sets overall strategy for the organization.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner equal_height=”yes” gap=”30″ css=”.vc_custom_1749783067235{margin-top: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1749783083434{padding-top: 6% !important;padding-right: 6% !important;padding-bottom: 6% !important;padding-left: 6% !important;background-color: #FAF1EC !important;border-radius: 15px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=””]

Travis Townsend

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1750028362772{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}”]Twin Cities Chapter President
lead@nbmbaa-twincities.org

Twin Cities Chapter NBMBAA
51115 Excelsior Blvd (#321)
St. Louis Park, MN 55416
www.nbmbaa-twincities.org[/vc_column_text]

[vc_btn title=”Become a Member” style=”classic” shape=”round” color=”warning” css=”.vc_custom_1749783467286{margin-top: 40px !important;}” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fnzotestserver.com%2Fnbmbaa%2Fmembership%2F|title:Membership”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1749413930014{border-radius: 15px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=””]The principal source of funding is revenue-sharing from our affiliate organization, The National Black MBA Association®, Inc., which is headquartered in Chicago, IL.
